Emergency and trauma cases demand specific expertise and time is a crucial factor for patient outcomes. Access to 4Ways’ pool of sub-specialist radiologists makes planning emergency radiology services far more manageable and unlocks existing resources within the host organisation for the provision of routine or non-urgent reporting.

Day Timetelerad3

Although workforce planning poses fewer challenges in the day than at night, ensuring that a radiologist is always available to report a study in less than 60 minutes can be very challenging. This challenge is amplified for the new regional trauma centres which will be receiving an increased volume of emergency and trauma cases for the region with only a limited time to increase reporting capacity. Now a solution is at hand, 4Ways Healthcare have the expertise and clinical infrastructure to report emergency cases in less than 60 minutes between the hours of 08:00 – 20:00. Emergency cases will be reported by GMC registered sub-specialist radiologists approved by you.  Knowing that all emergency cases can be sent to 4Ways at the touch of a button makes workforce planning that bit easier.

Out of Hours

Our out of hours remote reporting solution could save an NHS Trust up to 50% of the cost of employing locum cover for out of hour’s services.

In addition to reporting, 4Ways out of hour’s radiologists are available for authorising non-protocol driven scans and to discuss the report with the referring clinician; all this comes at no extra cost and no calls are routed to third party operators.

The urgent reporting out of hour’s service is designed to support and enhance the clinical activities of radiology departments between the hours of 20:00 and 08:00. Our service is also designed to be the best available in the UK; we are the first teleradiology provider to be ISAS Accredited and have the most stringent audit and clinical governance programmes.
