Will the radiologists have access to previous scans and other medically relevant information?

Our radiologists have access to all of the medically relevant information that would be available to in–house radiologists. All reports are completed making appropriate use of patient referrals and relevant diagnostic images.

Are all the radiologists working for 4 Ways based in the UK?

All of our radiologists either work as consultant radiologists for the NHS or have recently retired from the NHS. All of our radiologists work from the UK and as such they have an intimate knowledge of the reporting procedures and standards which are expected by clinicians in both the NHS and Private Healthcare Providers in the UK.

Will there be setup costs or ongoing administration / maintenance costs?

There are no setup costs for the 4 Ways remote reporting solution. All we require is minimal involvement from your IT department in establishing connection to the in-house PACS and RIS. Any equipment which may need to be on site will be installed, maintained and completely paid for by 4 Ways.

Will there be a lengthy setup process before reporting can begin?

Setup can be completed in a matter of days. A secured VPN Tunnel is established on an N3 connection between your site and the 4 Ways reporting hub. As soon as this connection is established, the transfer and reporting of images can begin.

Are there procedures in place to monitor the contract?

Our bespoke KPI software allows constant monitoring of SLA targets and our rigorous audit process ensures exceptional quality. The key account manager will be in regular contact and joint service reviews throughout the contract will enable a reciprocal approach to getting the most out of 4 Ways teleradiology services.

Is there a minimum volume requirement?

There is no minimum volume or usage requirement. Work is simply sent when it is required and the connection remains in place free of charge in the interim periods. Having the option to send work to 4 Ways at any time enables consistent service levels even in times of sudden unforeseen demand on in-house facilities.

Do you provide sub-specialist reporting?

4 Ways’ radiologists have a broad range of sub-specialist interests. As well as providing reporting services for sub-specialist areas, all of our radiologists are available for multi-disciplinary team meetings if required. 4 Ways also offers tertiary centre neuroradiology reporting.
