Ajay Bh. Chadha, a German Citizen, has been running businesses for International Banks like Citibank, ABN AMRO and RBS since 1989 in Europe and the Middle East. Besides Banking, Ajay has advised and invested in various well established small and mid-market companies in the UK, Germany, Switzerland and India.He has been based in London, Frankfurt and Dubai over the last 26 years.
Ajay has a reputation for success in the businesses he has worked with. This has been achieved by conceptualizing a well thought through business strategy and then its structured and disciplined implementation and execution. These roles included responsibility for all aspects of the businesses; corporate governance, leadership, business development, structuring of complex transactions, risk management, capital management, cost management, people management, and client relationships; these are all equally important aspects of small and medium sized companies like 4Ways. This wealth of operational and financial experience gained across a number of industry sectors means that Ajay is well placed to continue to drive and support the expansion strategy of 4Ways Healthcare.
Ajay’s key vision for 4Ways Healthcare is to retain the focus we apply to clinical governance and the flexible approach to our customer’s needs whilst adapting our services to meet the evolving NHS environment; placing emphasis on offering exceptional value for money whilst delivering the highest quality service.Ajay has been involved with 4Ways and its Shareholders in various capacities over the last years. He has been working closely with the outgoing CEO since early August to ensure a smooth and effective handover.
Dr Ben Timmis
Medical Director
Dr Ben Timmis, FRCR, qualified in 1975, and became a consultant radiologist at The Whittington Hospital NHS Trust in 1985. In 1987 he was appointed Director of Imaging and Head of Department, and in 1990, he was elected as Chairman of the Medical Advisory Staff Committee. In 1992, he was appointed as the first Medical Director of the Whittington Hospital NHS Trust, a post he held for 5 years, before returning to clinical practice, where he had a special interest in vascular, interventional and GI radiology up to his semi-retirement from the NHS in late 2010. He is also lead consultant radiologist at the Hospital of St. John & St. Elizabeth, and a consultant radiologist at The Wellington Hospital in London, as well as Medical Director of the London Upright MRI Centre. He has been associated with 4WHC since its foundation, as consultant radiology advisor, and was appointed as Medical Director of 4Ways in September 2011
Dr Arun Kumar
Chief Operating Officer
Dr Kumar is a Healthcare-IT-Management professional with over 10 years of experience in healthcare and e-healthcare initiatives. A qualified General Physician, graduating from Dagestan State Medical Academy, Russia, he has an Advance Diploma in Computer Science and has worked as Project Manager and Healthcare-IT specialist creating Health Management Information Systems in developing countries. Since then he has played a leading role in the development of web based health applications, analytical tools and e-portals based on integrated medicine, including a highly regarded audit system. Dr Kumar is a member of International Medical Informatics Association Canada, UKCHIP, Health Information Society of Ireland and Technical Committee of IHE-UK.
Simon Maharg
Business Development Director
Simon qualified as an Occupational therapist and attained an MSc in Health and Social Policy at Southampton University. He has over 25 years healthcare experience and has occupied a number of senior roles in Operations and Sales and Marketing within Diagnostic Imaging services for the past 13 years. Simon was responsible for developing the first mobile coronary angiography service in Ireland. He has extensive experience of solution selling within diagnostic imaging managed services and held senior roles including Sales Director at the InHealth Group and Sales and Marketing Director at Nuffield Diagnostics. More recently he has undertaken Business Development Consultancy roles within the UK healthcare market and joined 4Ways Healthcare on 1st April 2011.
Dr Sarah Burnett
Clinical Lead
Dr Sarah Burnett studied medicine at King's College and then Westminster, qualifying in 1985. After gaining her MRCP in 1988, she started training to be a radiologist at St Bartholomew's, spending a year in research at St Mark's. In 1993 she started her job as a consultant at St Mary's and the Royal National Orthopaedic Hospital. Her subspecialty area is musculoskeletal imaging. She obtained her MBA in 1995. Sarah spent five years as Admissions Tutor for Medicine at Imperial College. Since 2001 she has been in Independent practice in Central and North West London. She is a Licensed Practitioner of NLP. Sarah also has an MA in Creative Writing, and is a regular blogger, writer and broadcaster.
